British Values
Alongside our Christian values, the school takes very seriously its responsibility to prepare children for life in modern Britain. We take all opportunities to introduce and refer to key British values of democracy, law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance.
Our curriculum and in particular Circle Time, PSHCE and R.E provide opportunities to deepen and develop understanding within real contexts relevant to school and home lives.
The school makes considerable efforts to ensure children have exposure to a wide experience beyond the immediate community - for example, visits to places of worship, visitors to the school, sporting events with schools of different demographics and a well-established link with a city infant school.
